I am a CMC registered mediator with a special interest in workplace mediation within the clinical and hospital setting. I have nearly 20 years NHS board level experience of the acute sector including 12 years as Chairman of one of the first Foundation Trusts and particularly enjoy working to resolve challenges presenting within this particular environment.
 

My professional experience includes qualifying as a barrister and working as head of corporate communications for a FTSE 100 media company. I am now a non executive director of a FTSE 250 retail company, and a trustee of the Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. I sit on the Medical Advisory Panel of Bupa and am a member of the Independent Reconfiguration Panel, which advises the Secretary of State for Health on contested service changes within the NHS. 

I was awarded a CBE in 2008 for services to healthcare.
